The U.S. imperial colossus is waging war on Venezuela. The Trump administration and its top officials, from National Security Adviser John Bolton, Vice President Mike Pence to Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, invoking the heinous Monroe Doctrine of 1823, and backed to the hilt with bi-partisan congressional support, has proclaimed Venezuela to be in the U.S. imperial “backyard." Working people in the U.S. are faced once again with an open bi-partisan promoted imperialist war, with the Trump administration stating that its objective is to obliterate once and for all the sovereign governments of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, designated by President Trump as the “troika of tyranny.” [read more]

A Call for International Actions on the 5th Memorial Day of the Attack on the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, Ukraine.  International Protests have been called

May 2, 2020, will mark six years since a right-wing mob attack on the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, Ukraine, a tragedy that resulted in the deaths of at least 42 people and more than 100 injured. Today there still is no justice in sight for the mourners of the victims. [read more]
