Trump’s drone killing of Iranian leader Qasem Soleimani in Iraq, along with several other people, has outraged the world and has revitalized the antiwar movement in the U.S. and around the world.  Let’s build on this momentum.  Join us in New York City on February 21 – 23 at the national conference of the United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC).  Many leaders of the U.S. peace movement will be there.

You can register for the conference here (space is limited)

Low cost rooms are available near the venue at the Hotel Pennsylvania. Click here.

Others who will be at the conference include: Ann Wright, Ajamu Baraka, Glen Ford, Ray McGovern, Kevin Zeese, Medea Benjamin, Gail Walker, Margaret Flowers, Margaret Kimberley, Sara Flounders, Jeff Mackler, Rhonda Ramiro, Clare Grady, Camilo Mejia, Joe Lombardo, Bahman Azad, Frank Chapman, Abby Martin, Pam Africa, Cassia Laham, Omowale Clay, William Camacaro and more.

We are now about 2 months away from the UNAC national conference, which will be held at the People’s Forum in New York City. Our conference comes at a time when the US has become exceeding aggressive in pursuing its regime change agenda in one country after another. The military budget continues to rise, and the administration and congress have agreed to start a new program that will militarize space. Many of us who have traveled to other countries that are being attacked by the US militarily or through economic sanctions, coup attempts and propaganda wars understand that people all over the world look to the US peace movement to aid them in their struggle to be able to determine their own future. To live up to these expectations we need to build a strong, unified antiwar movement.

So, we urge you to join us at the UNAC conference on the weekend of February 21 – 23.

Hands off Venezuela! No Coup, No Sanctions, No War

Protest US aggression against Venezuela

The U.S. imperial colossus is waging war on Venezuela.

The Trump administration and its top officials, from National Security Adviser John Bolton, Vice President Mike Pence to Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, invoking the heinous Monroe Doctrine of 1823, and backed to the hilt with bi-partisan congressional support, has proclaimed Venezuela to be in the U.S. imperial “backyard." Working people in the U.S. are faced once again with an open bi-partisan promoted imperialist war, with the Trump administration stating that its objective is to obliterate once and for all the sovereign governments of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, designated by President Trump as the “troika of tyranny.” [read more]
