Agenda Setting starts at 6:30pm Followed by GA @ 7pm
The General Assembly is the completely participatory and
non-hierarchical governing body that the Occupy Movement has embraced
for decision making. We believe everyone deserves to have a fair say in
the direction of our collective lives. Everyone is invited to
participate in making decisions based on proposals that are presented.
Everyone is welcome to bring proposals as well. Please visit the “How to
bring a proposal” page. |
Every Wednesday! Show up at City Hall at 9am to protest the addition of Fluoride to our water. The council has voted to fluoridate our water in spite of serious health concerns and organized opposition. Show up to let them know we do not appreciate this forced medication. Bring signs!

http://www.ThePortlandAlliance.org/nightstrike Night Strike is a unique opportunity for
people to gather under the Burnside Bridge on the park side of Naito
Parkway every Thursday night and love people because people matter. It’s
an opportunity for members of Portland’s homeless community to hang
out, enjoy a hot meal, receive a free hair cut, shave, have their feet
washed and have their old shoes/clothes/sleeping bags replaced. It is
also a chance for you to come down and share in the experience, help
serve the needs of the homeless in our community, and more importantly,
invest in lives and build relationshttp://www.ThePortlandAlliance.org/policeaccountabilityhips with the people you meet.
When and Where: We meet *every Thursday night at 7:00pm at Liberation Street Church
for orientation and preparation. We then transition together to the
site at 7:50pm. We are usually done and cleaned up between 10:00 and
10:30pm. The best place to park is in the parking lot between the
Salvation Army mission and the MAX line on Ankeny St. Parking there costs $2 for the evening. Street parking free after 7pm.
Weekly Farmers Market at Muslim Community Center, 3801 NE MLK Blvd, Fridays 1:30-2:30pm. Open to the Public. Produce, berries, and honey
from Great River Farm on Sauvie Island. Support interfaith connections
and local farmers. Sponsored by Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon’s

With
the economy still in recession, the banks are still up to their old
tricks. They are still foreclosing on families, still ripping us off and
still controlling government. We need to put a stop to this!! We need
to be talking to people and small businesses about moving their money!! Every Friday from noon - 6pm, we will do an action at a different bank. Dust off that old "Banks Got Bailed Out" sign and join the revolution!! |
