Michael Munk Book Party

The Portland Red Guide: Sites and Stories from Our Radical Past, published by PSU’s Ooligan Press, was developed from Michael Munk’s “Our Radical Past” column that appeared in the Alliance from 2000 to 2002. It presents brief notes, illustrations, and maps on over 150 Portland sites related to radical, labor and equal rights struggles. General Strike will play and Solidarity Red beer will flow. 6 p.m. at the Great Northwest Bookstore, 3314 SW First Avenue (right under the tram).
